Frequently Asked Questions

I've never booked bartending services before. How does this work?

You're in good hands! To give you a quote, we need to know more about your event. Let us know: How many guests you're having When you want the bar to be open Where the event will be If you're bringing the alcohol, or you'd like us to do all the lifting We will walk you through everything you need!

How much does it cost to hire a bartender?

Bartenders are $40/hour with a $160 minimum. Don't forget to ask about our bussers too!

Do you have all-inclusive packages?

Of course! DFW Bartending carries a Liquor License, so we can bring the drinks to you. You'll choose between a Hosted Bar package, Consumption Bar package, or Cash Bar package. We also have bars and margarita machines you can rent for the day. Check out the Rentals page.

What is the difference between a Hosted Bar, Consumption Bar, and Cash Bar?

Hosted Bar means you've purchased alcohol according to your guest count, and DFW Bartending brings it to you. This is an open bar for your guests, and a simple solution for you. You'll select the Beer, Wine, and Liquor you would like served, and we do the rest! Consumption Bar means you've set a limit on how much you'll pay for. Once the limit has been met, guests can purchase drinks at the bar. Alternatively, this is a great option if you want to provide drink tickets to your guests. Cash Bar means your guests are purchasing their own drinks. DFW Bartending offers card or cash payment options.

How does gratuity work?

You can opt to have the bartender set out a tip jar or cover gratuity up front. If a tip jar doesn't fit your event, we ask for 30% gratuity. Gratuity is only applied to the services you have hired, not the liquor package or rentals.
